Welcome to my FAQ page.
If you’re here, you’re probably in the “I’m interested, but I have questions” phase, and honestly, I respect that. Below are the answers I get asked the most about how I plan trips, what my services include, and what working with me actually looks like.
If you don’t see your question, reach out. I’ll give you a straight answer and tell you if I’m the right fit.
I work with couples planning a Europe trip who have outgrown DIY travel. You want a trip that feels romantic and well-paced, with great hotels in the right locations and a plan that makes sense once you land.
You’re the kind of couple who has the budget to do it right, but you don’t want to waste time comparing 27 hotels, reading 400 reviews, or arguing over whether you should spend two nights here and one night there. You want someone to take your wishlist and turn it into a smooth itinerary that actually feels like a vacation.
If you’re dreaming about Scotland, Italy, Greece, France, or Switzerland and you want a trip that’s thoughtfully planned, not rushed and not random, you’re in the right place.
The sooner, the better, especially for Europe. Great hotels and the best experiences book early, and waiting usually means fewer choices or higher prices. As a general rule, reach out as soon as you have a rough season or date range in mind.
Planning begins with my Trip Design fee, which starts at $147 and varies based on the destination, length of trip, complexity, and number of travelers. The fee is non-refundable and not applied toward your booking. It covers the time and expertise that goes into building your custom itinerary and planning strategy.
My clients typically spend around $10,000 per week in Europe, not including flights. That usually covers 4-star and above accommodations, thoughtful logistics, and experiences that feel special. If you tell me your rough budget, I’ll be honest about what’s realistic and how to get the best trip for it.
No, and that is on purpose. I am not a discount site. I focus on value, quality, and making sure you end up with the right trip for YOU, not just the lowest price. If your main goal is finding the cheapest option online, I will not be the right fit.
Yes, with a couple of guidelines. I book flights only when they’re part of a trip I’m planning and booking, and when you’re also booking at least three nights of accommodations through me. That lets me make sure the timing, transfers, and overall flow actually work.
If you want to use points or miles, you’ll book your flights yourself, but I’ll still advise you on routing, connection times, and what makes sense with your itinerary.
Yes, for flights. If you’re using points or miles, you’ll book airfare directly and send me the details so I can make sure it fits the itinerary and the timing works.
Hotel points cannot be used for the accommodations I book, since I’m booking vetted hotels and partners through my suppliers.
Absolutely. I want your input. I just do not want you carrying the whole mental load. Bring your wishlist, your must-dos, and your travel style. I’ll take that and turn it into a plan that makes sense.
Yes. Always. Travel insurance protects your investment and gives you options if something unexpected happens. I’ll help you choose a policy that fits your trip.
